UNCG’s IT assessment and reorganization initiative reached its first milestone as campus prepared for Thanksgiving break. The fact-finding phase, which included in-person listening sessions, virtual focus groups, and campuswide surveys, concluded at the end of November.

Over 60 hours of listening sessions with 450 participants and 770 survey responses.

Who Participated?

During fact-finding, our consulting partners met with:

  • Administrative leadership
  • Deans and associate deans
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Information Technology Services (ITS)
  • Departmental Technology Support staff (DTS)
  • Academic Technology Specialists (ATS)

What Did Fact-Finding Include?

  • More than 60 hours of listening sessions
  • More than 450 listening session and focus group participants
  • 770 total survey responses
    • 422 from staff and administrators
    • 196 from students
    • 152 from faculty

What Happens Next?

Berry Dunn will now develop an assessment report based on the insights gathered during fact-finding. This report will include recommendations for a revised IT operating model for UNCG.
